LYNN KINDLER
Sr. Career Strategist
Austin, TX
Meet Lynn! She has been in the career transition industry for 15 years and she believes this work is what she was born to do!
She loves how this job connects her to new industries and what people are doing in the world. She encourages others that behind titles, jobs, and companies are what matter most…the PEOPLE! She specializes in helping clients really hone their networking skills and partnering to come up with the best game plan in terms of networking and prospective jobs. She loves getting to work with really great and interesting people, constantly learning new businesses and what people are doing in the world.
She feels that getting to be there with her clients through this process is a great privilege. What really fills her up is when a client gets enthusiastic about their process and gets after finding jobs they’d be interested in, finding companies they’re curious about and making connections on Linkedin and other organizations they’re members of.
When she’s not working she loves to spend time with her husband (30 years together/28 married), her dogs (Aussie, Border Collie, Great Pyrenees), and her friends. She also enjoys hiking, jogging, choreographing crazy dance steps in her head, listening to music when she’s walking/running, scuba diving and traveling.
Lynn’s positivity is contagious and you’d be lucky to have her as your personal Career Strategist!
What makes you good at guiding professionals to make career changes? I’ve been there done that. And I have many years of coach training and working with professionals in career transition. I know what it feels like to “know” you’re skilled, experienced and qualified but having a hard time separating yourself from the sheer number of applicants applying for the same job. I talk with employers a lot about what they’re up against in looking for just the right people for the job. I try to keep an open mind and to be curious about where people are coming from. I want the best for anyone I work with, I’m doing this work because when I work with others, help them to help themselves and watch them blossom it is worth all the gold in the world to me.
