Meet Amy! As someone who is a good researcher, and is always trying to be thorough in all that she does, she is an asset to our team of Service Optimization Specialists. She loves learning how to improve herself and often does this by reading books or blogs about various topics to improve the lives of those around her. 

She is passionate about the career transition industry because she enjoys the opportunity to help clients find their dream career by providing them with resources that help them get there. Some of the ways that Amy has been commended professionally have been for her fulfillment when she makes a commitment and for her consistent work ethic.

When Amy is not working, she loves to hike and explore nature preserves with her family. Indiana Dunes National Park is one of her favorite spots to walk the trails and spot birds and other wildlife. We are so grateful to have someone with Amy’s aptitude for research and passion for knowledge as a part of our team!

What is your proudest professional accomplishment? I was working in home health as an occupational therapist and I had a patient with visual impairment after a stroke. She had been living independently, but now was having difficulty cooking on her own and maneuvering through her home due to her newly diagnosed visual condition. I taught her strategies to compensate for her vision loss that allowed her to begin to cook on her own, maneuver through her home, and begin to read again. She said, “Whoever trained you must be very proud!”
